Why should you join the Warrior Word?

1. Exploring Journalism- The Warrior Word shows you what journalism is all about, as well as the skills it takes to be a journalist.

2. Writing Practice- Composing and editing a variety of articles will allow you to get the practice you need in order to improve your writing technique.

3. Expanding your Resume- Being part of the student paper is an amazing way to show colleges that you are capable of committing to something other than your classes. It gives you the opportunity to gain leadership positions and collaborate with fellow students.

KEEP IN MIND: Don’t be discouraged if you are a junior or a sophomore! It’s never too late to gain journalistic expertise.
